Coastal Cruising – RYA Intermediate
If you want to be able to take your boat on journeys to new places and are already qualified to RYA Powerboat 2 Standard, then this is the course for you.
Over a period of two days, you will plan and execute journeys to at least three separate harbours. For example, on day one journey form Christchurch to Poole harbour and explore Brownsea Island. On day two travel down the Solent past the needles and visit first Yarmouth and then Cowes or perhaps miss out Cowes and travel up the beautiful river Beaulieu to Bucklers hard for lunch.
On the way, there is the option to explore the rough waters around Old Harry rocks and Durlston point – they run every day when the tides are in full ebb and flow.
Price: £310
These prices are inclusive of clothing hire, lifejacket hire and fuel.
